Provisioning Technical Documentation

Productive Resources’ Logistics Provisioning group offers a wide range Provisioning Technical Documentation support services and products. Our provisioning group provides the data used for determining and acquiring the support items necessary to operate and maintain an end item. The goal of this process is to have the support items available in time to meet our customer’s operational needs. Our products are tailored to the specific needs of our customers to include:

• Provisioning Parts List (PPL)
• Engineering Data For Provisioning (EDFP)
• Long Lead Items List (LLIL)
• Recommended Spare Parts List (RSPL)
• Illustrated Repair Parts Manuals (IPBs and RPSTLs)
• Source Maintainability & Recoverability (SMR) Coding
• Source File Maintenance (DCNs)

Provisioning product development and Improvement can be tailored to MIL PRF 49506 requirements in PowerLog or the database can be developed in MS Excel for inclusion in the prime contractor database. Our Logistics Provisioning group has experience developing provisioning documentation for a wide range of products across all branches of the military both US and foreign as well as commercial customers. We have also supplied our provisioning services and products to other major defense contractors such as DRS Technologies.

Technical Publications
Productive Resources Technical Documentation personnel are experienced in providing technical manuals and data covering operation and maintenance for a variety of equipment to satisfy the requirements of the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps, as well as commercial customers and prime defense contractors. The group includes writing, illustration and production capabilities. The capabilities of the publications group range from mil-spec paper-based technical manuals, to commercial-grade manuals, to fully interactive electronic technical manuals (IETM). The IETM capability ranges from basic electronically hyperlinked renditions of paper manuals to manuals containing hyperlinks for diagnostics, prognostics and fleet support back-end connectivity; depending on the product and the IETM software used.
